Ron Eastman has been has been Head Baseball Coach at The Woodlands High School since 2001. Coach Eastman guided the Lamar Redskins for 8 years before moving to The Woodlands in 1997. In 1993 Lamar made the playoffs for the first time in 24 years, and 1995 they defeated the #1 ranked team in the state to claim their first District title since 1969. He was named the HISD and Houston Coaches Association Coach of the Year in 1995.
Shane Graves has been with the Highlander Baseball program for 7 years. Graves played baseball at Stephen F. Austin, and is a 1995 graduate of Texas A&M University. Shane's wife, Dina, is the Head Coach of Girls Soccer at The Woodlands High School.
Chris Harden is in his second year as assistant coach for the Highlander Varsity team. He is a 1988 graduate of Cheboygan High School, Cheboygan, MI. where he played Varsity baseball, basketball and football. He attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI where he earned his Bachelors in Math Education in 1997. At Ferris State he was a 4-year varsity baseball player. In 1993 he was named MVP for the team, and in that same season made Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference 1st Team All Conference.
Barry Wilson joined the Highlander coaching staff in 2001, and this year enters his 12th year in coaching. Prior to The Woodlands, Coach Wilson was at Montgomery HS, Conroe HS and McAdams JHS in Dickinson. Wilson is a graduate of Cy-Fair High School and earned a bachelors degree from Texas A&M in 1986.
Junior Varsity Assistant Emory Bartolazzi joind the Highlander baseball coaching staff in 2001. After graduating from Cy-Fair High School he attended Texas A&M University, where he received degrees in Kinesiology and Physics. Emory did his student teaching at The Woodlands High School in 1999.
Chad Rozelle is now in his 5th season as Sophomore baseball coach at The Woodlands High School. Rozelle is a proud member of the Highlander 2000 5A State Championship team. He attended Port Neches-Groves High School, where he played 4 years of baseball. Upon graduation in 1992, he attended Texas A&M University, and received a BS in Kinesiology in 1996. He enjoys music, sports, playing the guitar and golf.
