Sophomore Green Sweeps Klein Tournament

Victories over Klein, Klein Oak and Klein Collins lead the green team to the tournament championship.The sophomores won the Klein ISD tournament by going 3-0, with scores of 4-1 over Klein, 10-2 over Klein Oak, and 11-1 over Klein Collins in the final game.

Green vs Klein 4-1

Scott Johnston went the distance by pitching 7 innings, giving up only 3 hits-( 7-IP, 27-BF, 4-Runs, 3-hits, 6-K, 3-BB)

Offensively, the Green team had 8 hits:Carlson-(3-4, 1-dbl.), Pruitt-(1-3), Raines-(2-4, 2-RBIs), Johnston-(1-4), Eckenrode-(1-3)

Green vs Klein Oak 10-2

Grant Gullo went the distance going 6 innings, giving up only 4 hits-(6-IP, 25-BF, 2-Runs, 4-hits, 6-K, 2-BB)

Offensively, the Green team had 12 hits:Carlson-(1-3), Maurice-(1-3), Pruitt-(4-4, 2-dbl, 4-RBIs), Johnston-(1-3, 1-dbl.), Raines-(2-4), Lehman-(1-2), Eckenrode-(2-3)

Green vs Klein Collins 11-1

Austin Pruitt went the distance going 7 innings, giving up 4 hits:(7-IP, 23-BF, 1-Run, 4-hits, 11-K, 0-BB)
