Sophomore Green stays on top in District 14-5A with a win over Klein Collins 4-2

| Austin Pruitt pitched 7 innings giving up 2 hits behind a very solid defense. Klein Collins held the Green team to just 1 run until the 6th inning. Austin Pruitt started the 6th inning off with a single (Cham King came in to run for Pruitt). |

| A wild pick off throw moved King to 2nd base.
Steven Raines then hit a double, scoring King (Travis Keating
came in to run for Raines). Andy Parmigiano was up next with a
single. Scott Johnston layed down a bunt that moved Parmigiano
over to 2nd and Johnston was safe at first with an error by the first
baseman. Sean Miller hit into a double play moving Parmigiano to
3rd base. Josh Edwards was up next and layed down a bunt single
scoring Parmigiano. The Green offense scored 3 runs which put them on
top 4-2. Austin Pruitt faced 4 batters in the top of the 7th inning,
striking out 3 to end the game.
