Junior Varsity Wins Over Klein 10-4

Marco Peņa goes six innings for the win and Taylor Parr homered for the first time of the season. The Highlander JV (8-1, 15-3) rebounded from their 1st District loss to beat Klein by the score of 10-4.

The Highlander JV (8-1, 15-3) rebounded from their 1st District loss to beat Klein by the score of 10-4. Marco Peņa (6 IP, 5 K, 3 BB, 5 H, 4 ER) overcame a shaky start to finish with 3 scoreless innings. Mike Dimitroff (1 IP, 1 K, 1 H) pitched a scoreless 7th inning. Taylor Parr hit his first homerun of the season and contributed 4 RBIs. Brian Byers had a multi-hit night with 2 singles.

The Highlander JV next plays at Klein Forest on Friday, April 15, 5 pm
