Sophomore Green Rallies In 8th To Defeat Oak Ridge

TWHS Sophomore Green team closed out the their season with a thrilling win over Oakridge, 7-3, that went extra innings. TWHS Green team finished 1st in District 14-5A with a 13 and 1 record. Their overall record was 19 and 4.

TWHS Sophomore Green team closed out the their season with a thrilling win over Oakridge, 7-3, that went extra innings. TWHS Green team finished 1st in District 14-5A with a 13 and 1 record. Their overall record was 19 and 4.

The tightly contested game was tied 3-3 after 7 innings. In the top of the 8th inning, John Kohli lead off with a single, Jon Delgado followed with a single, Austin Pruitt was next up with a double, scoring Kohli and Delgado. Steven Raines then singled scoring Pruitt. Grant Gullo singled scoring Raines.

Austin Pruitt started the game pitching 6 1/3 innings and was relieved by
Sean Miller who closed it out.
