Junior Varsity Finishes District With a Win
The Highlander JV capped the 2005 season with an exciting come-back-from-behind victory over cross-town rival Oak Ridge by the score of 13-9. The Highlander JV dominated Lufkin in their second meeting by the score of 13-3. Mike Dimitroff (5 IP, 4 BB, 4 H) struck out 10 to earn his 4th win of the season. Colton Mckey hammered the final nails in the coffin by pitching a scoreless 6th and final inning.   More...   [Top]

The Highlander JV beat Friendswood in 4 innings by the score of 14-2
Colton Mckey pitched 3 innings, allowing only 1 hit and 1 one run and striking out 3. Lon Schuster closed the game allowing no hits and 1 run in one inning. The Highlanders had an impressive offensive performance with 14 hits out of 26 official at bats.
